A community engagement campaign was developed to help further the Community Financial Credit Union mission to create joy and ignite Michiganers’ impossible dreams. Launched as part of the credit union’s partnership with the Detroit Lions, the campaign saw more than 1,400 dreams submitted and hundreds of people experiencing the impossible.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Lake Trust Rewards was a program designed to pay back members for their loyalty and participation in the credit union. The more products, services, and involvement a member had with Lake Trust Credit Union, the more money they earned. Members were being rewarded for just being themselves. This campaign celebrated a few of these rewarding members.

Jon Eslinger has over 25 years of experience creating, launching, and growing brands, products, and experiences for organizations of all shapes and sizes.

Jon began his career in North Dakota, designing logos and print collateral for small businesses and brands such as Bobcat, Chrysler®, and MGM Grand. He earned numerous creative industry accolades, including the state’s first-ever National American Advertising Federation ADDY® Award.

Always the person in the room asking “why,” Jon’s quest for something better led him to Michigan, where he accumulated impressive job titles, compliments for his beard, and professional recognition for clients like BIGGBY® COFFEE, General Motors, and Michigan State University Athletics.

After serving as Vice President of Brand Engagement at Lake Trust Credit Union, Jon co-founded DO:BETTER, a brand strategy and design agency in Ann Arbor, Michigan. There, he helped launch countless brands and products, collaborating with both startup businesses and established organizations like Automation Alley, Habitat for Humanity, Toyota, The United Way, World Economic Forum, and more. In 2024, Jon embarked on a new journey as a brand consultant, transforming credit unions and financial leaders with unique strategic insights and timeless design to forge enduring, authentic relationships between credit unions and their members.

When he’s not debating the ways of the world with his daughter, Jon is likely watching professional wrestling or a silly documentary about professional wrestling.
